Marketplace Help

How to view the ads.
You can view Marketplace ads sorted by age or location. By default, you see the ads submitted the last 30 days for all the states. If you want to see ads for a specific state, select it from the drop down list and click the 'show' button. You can also narrow the listing by selecting a different ad age before hitting the 'show' button.

Browsing and navigating the Marketplace ads.
To view an entire category of Marketplace ads, click on the category's name. To view a sub-category, click on the category link within each ad. You can also click on the individual sub-category name in the bulleted list from the index page.

How to respond to an advertisement.
To respond to a particular Marketplace ad, you can send email to the underlined address following "Reply:" shown at the bottom of each ad. If you're using a standard browser, you can do this simply by clicking on the address.

Posting a new ad to Marketplace.
To post a new Marketplace ad, click on the "Back to Ads" button at the bottom of this page. Then select the bulleted category into which your new ad would most logically be grouped. Beside the heading for the category there's a "post ad" link. Click on that to get a form which you then fill out in order to describe your ad. If you know HTML, you may add markup codes to text describing your ad, including links to other web documents!

Post ads ONLY in the appropriate category. Anyone spamming the ads will have all ads removed.

Making changes to your ad.
You can change or remove your Marketplace ad for any reason at any time, as long as your browser accepts cookies. Just visit http://www.woodworking.com/ads/adindex.cfm and viewing your ad(s), and you will see the links | Edit Ad | and | Delete Ad | right below your ad text.

When you contact a seller, be sure to tell them you saw their ad in woodworking.com's Marketplace!
