My Geography on the States is poor but a supplier I have been very impressed with for exotics is Berea Hardwoods in Ohio. www.Bereahardwoods.com.
You have to call them to place an order but "Tom" the guy who takes the enquiry is very honest and will tell you if the stuff they have available is suitable for your needs.
BTW is the Zach Taylor you mention on your website the same guy who plays the Lute and who has written a number of books on Woodworking... I always renember meeting him and spending a day learning how to sharpen ...really neat guy!!
