If I knew that answer to that one, I'd be rich!
Get a web page up with pics of your best work. Have an email link.
Print some business cards with the URL and your phone number.
Take *GOOD* pics of your best stuff and post 'em on the web AND carry a "brag book" with you at all times.
Show your brag book to EVERYONE you meet. Ask them "Wanna buy a _____?" - fill in the _____ with whatever you're best at (put these pics up front in your book). If they express *ANY* interest at all give 'em a card.
I ask simply everyone. Was getting some hats embroidered for the crew and sold $300 worth to the guy running the shop! I've sold to waitresses, store managers, barmaids, *everyone* I meet is a potential client.

Hang in there tinytown, once you do manage to sell a couple pieces, word of mouth will bring you more customers. The more happy customers you get, the more references you'll get. They'll tell two friends, who'll tell two friends etc. One thing I've learned the hard way. If you sell your work too cheap you'll become known as "the cheap guy" and the people who call you will be all the ones who are looking for a steal. Try to find the customers who appreciate the value of quality. If you do have to let one go cheap, remember to explain that you normally would charge more(because it's worth it)but you just need the money or don't have room for the piece or whatever. Good luck!

Sell for value not price.
