high temp finish

I want to finish a some maple trim work around my gas fire place.
In a small area its gets a little warm. Im guesssing about 125' f. Can anyone suggest a clear gloss finish that is heat resistant.

On a curly maple/bubinga mantlepiece that I figured was going to get a lot a tear I just used Varathane, the one with the little picture of a skater on it. I don't know exactly how hot it gets, but it is a working fireplace, it's been up for a few years and hasn't had any problems resisting heat or spilled eggnog.
