I just purchased a Ridgid dust collector for my shop and would like to hook it up to collect dust from my router. Does anybody have plans for a table as my router has no hook up on it?

Almost all router tables have a system for dust collection, some work better than others. Check any of the woodworking tool sites under links on this page.

If you want to try to collect dust from the router used out of the table I know of only one system. Leigh has an attachment that was designed to work with their jig but it will work for all edge use of almost any router. It really works I have seen it in action.

http://www.leighjigs.com/ and go to products and then to the dust attachment page.

Good luck.

check out the web site, www.woodworking.org/WC/gazette.html and go to router table by Joe Johns.

Norm can sell you plans ($10, $25 w/video) for a router table with nice storage for bits and accessories. It has a power switch in the front (nice safety feature) and a hook-up in the back for your dust collector. Check it out.

Try PlansNow.com. They have a pretty good router table you can build. When you download the plans ($5.95), you can download free plans for some accessories including a dust collector attachment.
