I just bought a 14" band saw. After setting everything to spec I still cannot get the dang thing to cut straight. It takes about 5 degrees angle on the work to follow my line. The balde is new. Any help is appreciated.

The bandsaw is cutting straight. They almost always cut at an angle askew to the miter slot. If the skew is consistent then set your fence to compensate. BTW, the amount of skew will vary with blade tension, blade ware, and the specific blade. I suggest that you get the "Bandsaw Book" for more info.
