Just wanted to ask about heat. I am having a new workshop built and am concerned about the price of gas bills. I don't want to go the wood stove route, but was wondering what others are using in their shops and what may be a really more economical way to heat????????? Any ideas?????????

Solar my man solar.
Hunt around a while theres a page at http://www.aaasolar.com that allows you to inout usage and then it figures out what solar units you need.

I have a direct vent gas radiant heat wall furnace ..i have my shop super insulated ..about R50 for walls and about R60 for ceiling..about 600 sq.ft.does a great job..but the ultimate would be in floor radiant heat ..this is the most confortable...spend money on insulation now instead of having high gas bills forever..good luck
