Well you could try http://www.woodfinder.net for the nearest supplier of any wood species you desire. Another alternative would be to visit Constantine's website [link:www.constantines.com|by clicking on this]. I would also think that any lumber yard, "box" store, or even a hobby shop might carry what you seek.

One option is certainly:
Adams and Kennedy: The Wood Source [http://www.wood-source.com/]
As well, I know these are not in town but some are very good if you don't mind a couple of hour drives try these:
Monaghan Lumber at [http://www.monaghanlumber.com/]These guys are in Peterborough and are very good!!
Kootur Lumber at [http://www.kooturlumber.com/]
A&M Wood Specialty at [http://www.amwoodinc.com/canada/]
West Lincoln Antique Lumber may also be worth a look at

And if all else fails drop inot Lee Valley - they will certainly have some suggestions - Best of Luck

I live in Orleans just east of Ottawa. There are 2 good wood stores that I know of, on the Ontario side. I am not familiar with those on the Quebec side.
The cheapest one is the Clarence Creek Wood Select. Clarance Creek is just wast of Rockland and the shop is west of the 4 corners in Clarenace Creek about 4-5 Km.
The other one is Adams & Kennedy along Regional Road 8 East of Manotick, (just west of the Emerald Links golf course).
As mentioned, the Clarence Creek one is the cheaper of the 2, but I believe that the Adams & Kennedy has more selection. The lee Valley in the west end near the IKEA off Greenbank Road is expensive, but a fair selection of exotics.
Hope this helps
