I am building a box to hang and display military medals and a flag. I have tentatively come up with a design of my own, but would like to know if there are already plans for a box like this one.

I once made several boxes to display gold jewlery for auction. They were 3 inches tall approximately 18 inces by 24 inches. I lined them with felt and removable glue that is used in various packaging for ship ment to hold various pieces. The lid or top was made with mortise and tenon joints with a dado cut to hold .250 plexiglas for viewing. The lids also had special hinges that allowed the top to remain open when being viewed.
