I am interested in making a bread board.
The dimensions of the existing one are
22" x 14" and is made of 3/4" material(not sure what kind).
Any advice, tips or links would be GREATLY appreciated.

thanks

I have found that 1/2" corian works very well. Just route the edges of any size board and you are ready to go. And you can freeze it for doing candies and pastries.

maple, maple, maple...

cut it into 2-3 inch strips, and alternate the grain curvature. This will reduce warping, since you'll want to leave it unfinished as it will be contacting food (although there are food grade oil finishes you can use).
