I need to make a simple box frame using round stock. I need help in figuring out the angles to cut the dowels where the three meet (one corner of the box). The dowels need to be cut, or appear to be cut all the same way. The dowels will frame glass panels. I tried using regular square stock and then taking a router to it to make the profile. It looked stupid. Any help would surely be appreciated. Thanks,

You need two 45° angles, 90° apart.

If you look at the box from the side, the corner meets at a 45°. If you look down from the top, they also meet at a 45°. So you'ld cut a 45° angle, roll the stock 90° and recut the same 45°. Repeat on both ends of all twelve pieces (cube has 12 edges, no?) and you should have a box that fits together.
