I'M LOOKING FOR INFORMATION TO GAIN A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF SHOP VACUUM SYSTEMS AND ANY HELP THAT WILL ENABLE ME TO INSTALL AN EFFICIENT VACUUM SYSTEM FOR MY WORKSHOP. CURRENTLY I OWN A 10" RADIAL ARM SAW AND JUST PURCHASED A NEW 1 1/2 HP ROUTER THAT I WANT TO BUILD A TABLE FOR. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO CLEAN UP THE MESS DURING AND AFTER EVERY PROJECT. I REALLY ENJOY WOODWORKING BUT WHEN IT COMES TO NEW PROJECTS I'M RELUCTANT TO JUMP INTO THEM BECAUSE OF THE MESS. IF ANYONE HAS ANY GOOD INSIGHT ALONG THESE LINES I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I'm thinking of building an off shoot for cutting sheeting on my T.S.. This should let me also use it for my router shaper band saw and a sanding station.
then hopfully a couple hundred dollar shop vac under this table will be an easy hook up for all.
If anyone thinks this idea has problems please let me know
Thanks cougar
