Lou

If you haven't already turned all those spindles, there's a good tip on making matched spindles in "Today's Tip".

Bob,

No I haven't even started anything but play on my lathe. I need more skill before I start the big job. Right now I am in the process of redoing my shop from the floor up. I have all the tools on one side of the room piled high and just put a coat of paint on the floor on the other side. Today it is move everything to the painted side than go for the rest. I will paint the walls, move my wood storage system, put in all new lighting, build my 16 ft cutoff cab, build a lathe stand to free up my bench, reorganize all the tools, including making them all the same highth as the new cab, then help my daughter and son in law with redoing their kitchen. Then may be part of my kitchen, then maybe the spindals, if something else doesn't get in the way...Like a new job.

U-h-h-h-h, Lou -- you don't have time for a job.

However, I am continuing to look! I know you like to cook, but the ad this week for a cook for the old folk's home emphasized "home cooking" skills and I know you are into more exotic styles of cookery so I'll keep up the search.

I got a lead on a job today, I will be talking to the guy tumorrow and sending him my resume. Small company (good) Storage products (been there done that) VP marketing (been there done that) If I like the guy and he likes me then maybe we can talk.

A jot would get in the way of all the stuff I have to do though.

Lou, very best of luck,

Been there and done that too, so I know the emotions,
You don't want to take any job but at the same time you want to be in a position to turn one down if it doesn't fit.

I'd keep my fingers crossed but I'll probably be fast asleep.
