Sounds like a great weekend. Let us know what you think of the elm. I got a little confused about a leather planer, but the planner looks a lot better. ;)

Best Regards,

Bill

Did you get to do any spinning or did you just watch and learn?

I had decided before I even got there that there was to much going on for me to be tied to a machine, besides those that were, were late for lunch both days hahaha

HA, HA! Marilyn learned about 16 tons.

Well, I hope you get to try out some of what you learned real soon. After you have them proofed out, pass them along.

I did a little turnin yesterday myself. I learned about sharp tools.
And snaking ribbons of wood shavings.
Lots of fun for me, and little Jordan trying to clean them up with a hose from the DC system. I'd turn a pile and she'd vacuum it up. Then she'd say, "OK grandpa, now you can work somemore." And back and forth we went.
Then we went and played Oobi games on Noggin.com and smoked some Salmon. Doctors orders, fish and chicken for the next 4 months. Preferably B-B-Q'd. Darn! That just breaks my heart!
I just hate smoked Salmon. And I hate to BBQ stuff.
(Yea Right, :) )

Bill,

You think you were confused, I looked at Dick's listing rather quickly and thought for a few seconds he had won some malted Spam!! (Maybe I should get those glasses checked!)
