Wow, you are becoming quite the "arteest" Cody. Those are really incredible. Are you drinking tea with a pinkie extended now? :)

Thanks for the comments y'all. I'm pretty proud of the Shroom and the bow tie on that cracked bowl. I ain't the most creative person. I usually prefer copying something already proven.
Doug, naw, I still drink sweet iced tea in a big old glass...it's a Southern redneck thing, you know. :)
Mark, I wanted to turn the toothpicks but I didn't have a steady rest to keep them from wobbling and they wouldn't fit in my scroll chuck. ;)

Whew...I was starting to worry cause I did not think a redneck could possibly have made that beautiful Shroom. That really is some nice work.

1. Toothpick Holder - Red Elm and finished with Mylands.
2. Shroom Toothpick Holder - Hickory finished with Mylands and
Briwax. Karen claimed this one before I was even done.
3. Red Elm crotch bowl that I roughed out three weeks ago. It opened up along the bark inclusion/crotch line so I tried something different. I inlayed a Walnut butterfly patch. Since the bowl was already finish turned, it was pretty difficult chiseling out the recess because the sides were so springy. It's not perfect but looks pretty good in person. It definitely won't hold soup.
Thanks for looking.
