I was stationed there at MCAS El Toro in '72. We used to head over to Hunington Beach.
The whole area at that time was great.

Hey I was out there around that time, only I was visiting My sister and her husband at the time they where both stationed there. He worked out on the SAT site, I think that was what they called it. They practiced launch and recovery out there.
