That looks so beautiful.
Is this the same house that you built the custom bar?

Thanks for the compliment. No, it was the same place as the oak office/den.

Mike,
Some fine looking cabinets.
What did you use to finish the ebony?

Thanks for the kudos Rich. The finish was spray on oil base polyurethane gloss, sanded to 2000, and rubbed out.

Really, really awesome. All that time and the door grain is crooked!!! You couldn't do it right and make it run up and down? ;) Work like this is an inspriration for me and my humble projects. Thanks for sharing!

You really do some nice work. Next time you should post a picture of yourself with your handiwork.

I am in the picture. Look in the reflection in the middle picture, in the upper cabinet, you'll see me taking the picture.

These cabinets took a long time due to all the inlays involved. The wave lines and circles are inlayed flush to the surface. There were 7 different wave lengths for a total of 53 to inlay. The circles were cut nickle size, and there were 27 of those. The side visible in the pictures was the dining room side, and those doors opened. On the reverse side, there were the same doors, but they were fixed. The upper cabinets had hinged glass doors on the side showing in the pictures, and mirror on the wall sides and on the section covering the soffit face. Inlays follow around the cabinets. Woods were ebony and satinwood, with oil based polyurethane finish rubbed out.
