Those are really unique. Very creative. Finally a knife that floats. You've done a great job with detail. Great collector item or gift. I have several old (I mean old) Case and Old Timer knives, and appreciate the realistic look you've achieved.

How odd...Only a few days ago I was doing a random search on wooden knives, just because I wondered if such a thing existed.
Seems to be that even beyond a decorative one (I presume that's what yours are for?), if you had the right hardwood you could probably get a pretty good edge on one and sharpening would be a breeze.
Can't for the life of me remember why I was looking now.
Very nice work.
Rob.

I meant to ask if you have a website? If not, it's something to think about.

I just found this forum and this section. Looked at some of the items and liked them very much. I have been making these folding wooden knives for several years and most people find them very unusual. Most have about 12 to 14 different pieces. Blades, bladeliners, backsprings, bolsters, handles,ID plates and pins. The back springs work as with a metal knife and you can feel and see them move as you open and close the blades. I try to make them like knives that I have seen or have one like. All are different and are numbered and signed by me. Many collectors and some knife stores have purchased these. I also make many different styles and sizes of knife display cases and inlayed boxes. I hope you enjoy looking at them as I enjoy making them.
