I would be very careful in using crib plans more than a few years old. There are new standards that have been developed to prevent some major injuries that have been caused by crib design. I got a flyer I used to make the plans for the crib I built. The flyer was given away at stores that sold cribs and was titled "Points to Look For When Purchasing A Crib"

It is based on industry Spec's

American Society for Testing and materials (ASTM) Industry Imposed standards F 966-90 & F 1169-88

At the time you could get a free brochure from Child Craft Industries, Inc (812) 883-3111.

Safety for the baby is the most important factor here.

i never built anything before in my life worth bragging about,having a first child i built a crib ,every piece from a plan from rockler .very proud of it,try them,hope this helps.

I believe Eagle America features a crib plan or two also.
