Well i was going to cut some wood but it was 94 degrees in my shop so I turned on the fans and opened the door maybe after while.

I was thinking about going fishing tonight but the wind is kicking up pretty hard right now.We have a disturbance in the Gulf so I guess that stops the fishing this weekend.

I need to cut,trim and edge the grass and clean flower beds but that will have to be an early morning job.I'm watering right now so can't mow anyway.

I am making a pot of chile right now...you ask when its so hot........its not hot in the house and I like chile.
I like it on scrambled eggs,over rice,over macaroni or plain.When it gets done, another hour, I think I will take a nap the temperature is just right for that.

I need to run the vacumn for the Bohemian,she is still recovering from the fence fiasco ,had to go to Dr. yesterday to check out the bruises.

It IS hot, ain't it? Muggy up here, too.

That's something I miss! Chili, made with real chiles! Haven't had any really good chili since New Mexico, 7 years ago now.

Sometimes I used to cheat & eat Wolf Brand canned.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-03-01 AT 06:32PM (CDT)[p] That chili made think of stains, my wife is always on me for eating in the front room. That brought me to our coffee table. It's the top half of Mission style library table Mom got from her father. Has a large pure black stain on top. I asked her about it and it was leakage from the batteries my grandad used for his crystal radio, said she remembered him and his drinking buddies all hunched over that old radio listening to the boxing matches, made her grin talking about it.
When we're done with our work somebody may ruin a hard won finish, but if it stays in the family it's just a visible memory.
Second point, wish I'd asked my farmer step dad how he managed to cleanly cut of all four legs and get them even when I know the heaviest woodworking tool he owned was a Skil saw.
