Well, I'm in Boston now, and it's raining.
It was cold in Denver this past weekend (sub freezing), but it was about 70 today and through the week. Now I am in Boston in the rain.
Looks to be a cool town. Hope I get a chance to check it out.

Jim,
It IS raining. It is NOT snowing. Also not all that cold. Was much colder a week or two ago.
Lot of great stuff in Boston. Are you IN Boston, or in a surrounding town? If you get a chance, the duckboat rides are cool.
Faniel hall market place is cool too. If you go there, the building in the middle is full of great little places to eat. Also just down the street is where the Big Dig is. You can easily walk there and still see some of the construction going on.
New England Aquarium, Boston Science Museum, The Constitution. All great things to do.
Anyway, WELCOME to New England. Wish the weather rwas a little better for ya. We are still running 5-8 degrees below average.

Funny isn't it...I'm only on my second winter in Western NY and already I'm cheering because it's raining and not snowing.
That rain KILLS the snow.
Rob.
Jim,
Good to hear from you. I'll remain flexible and keep my cell on. I'm normaly off work at 2pm but will hang out till I hear from ya. Probably will end up crashing at the nephew's vice driving home.
We have way to little time; we'll make the best of it. Be awsome if Leo could join up also, in fact the more the merrier.
Theres a woodcraft stor only a few exits down if ya need a "fix".

But I'm sure that snow, as well as the rain, helps to make the landscape up there so nice. I was up in that area several years ago. Flew into Buffalo and drove down to Pennsylvania to visit with a fella stayin in a Federal Hostel in that town where they make Zippo lighters.
Anyway, the drive down through that area was fantastic. On our way back we stayed the night in Buffalo and visited one of those neighborhood Bar & Grill places. Had a great cholesterol burger and some fun and interesting conversation with the locals. Seems they don't have a lot of love for the Big Apple.

Glen,
I'm about an hour south of Boston. I am also not a beeya drinker at all.
Be tough for me unless we plan it out. If we could plan to meet at the woodcraft I could get directions there. We could meet and chat for a while, then you and Jim could maybe go the Cheers for Beeyas. I would just head back from there. It OK with me. I will pm my Phone number to you.

Woodcraft is on Montvale Ave. It's an exit off 93 north of Boston. Take a left off the ramp and it's a few hundred yards on your left.
Death and Taxes - Avoiding the inevitable
That's the place. I don't know what time Jim is going to be done. I can always give em a lift over and back. FYI,I'm not a beer drinker either, so a meet at WoodCrafters is fine also. There's even a decent Italian resteraunt right there for option B. It's a little open ended but what do you think Leo?
I'll go with the flow. How about you Ernie - can you make it?
Appologies for not checking in very often. It's that work thing keeps happening.

Just got outa class number 1. I'm game for whatever, as long as it starts with me leaving the Wyndham at about 4:30 PM Wednesday. Italian sounds great, and I'll still have my beer. LOL!!
More co-woodworkers is always better.
