No but I'm about to start. I'll just make it up as I go along.

I haven't, but didn't Norm build an upholstered couch a season or two ago on New Yankee Workshop? To be honest, I haven't really watched it in a long time, not for any particular reason, but I seem to recall catching a bit where he was upholstering something that was bigger than a chair.

Edit: I think I was thinking of a "Window Bench" rerun from a few years ago. Though it looks like there's a "Mission Style Sofa" from quite a while ago.

When I think of a wooden couch all that comes to mind is a futon frame. I can't imagine that plans for one would be too difficult to find, or that it would be too difficult to build.

Otherwise, all that I can think of for "wooden couch" is the frame that's inside most upholstered furniture. Is that what you've got in mind?

You might do a search on Mission-style settles.

The design is often copied . . . and is pretty simple. I did make a hope chest to match the furniture . . . and I bought a lot of it before I was heavy into the woodworking.
