Sounds like the Coyboys practice facility took a pretty good hit. I don't ever like to see that happen. Hope all is well.

There were twelve people injured and three critically...although none of the injuries are life threatening.

Joe DeCamillis, their new special teams coach fractured a couple of vertebrae in his back so he will be down and out for a while. I expect he will miss the rest of the mini-camps and OTA's. That's too bad becaue he was already starting to set a new tone on special teams...their weakest phase of the game the past two years.

Officially the winds were 64 mph but the snapped trees along with the practice bubble collapse indicated higher...possibly much higher due to a microburst.

Karen and her friend were headed to Dallas about that time and when they got to Terrell, about 40 miles East of Dallas, they ran into heavy rain, hail and high winds. They turned around and came back home.

We just had a pretty nasty thunderstorm pass through here. Lots of heavy rain, wind and lightening but no damage that I can tell. It's that time of year.

I was sitting in my rv enjoying my day off about 3 miles from where that practice field is. Felt the microburst, but didn't know what it was at the time. It just felt weird, but it was over about as fast as it came. Hope those that were injured get well soon.
