LadyRider wants drawer with open front so we can see what's in the drawer. What do you guys suggest? I think a low front that just enough to cover the plywood edge and to keep things from sliding out. What about the slide? what kinda slide should I get?

Does the drawer have to be "open"? Will she let you put like a plexiglass front to see in so stuff wont come out. Make a drawer front frame and slide the plexi in the slot like the drawer bottom. If she just wants is open I might just do dry drag drawers so it does not just come sliding out to fast. ???

I kinda like that plexiglass idea.

Blum or Accuride (full extension) are the bees knees when it comes to slides. I've even found that the full extension side-mount slides from Home Depot are pretty good for a lot less money and they are rated for 100 lbs.

I'm assuming you will want full extension for easier access to all of the drawer contents.
