I'm looking for a plan for a cedar chest.
I have basic woodworking skills, a good table saw, biscuit joiner, router, jointer, and sanders. I'm accustomed to using epoxy and glue on wooden boat projects but not used to making furniture or cabinets.
I would like to build a nice basic cedar/blanket chest. Not just a box with rope handles but not as fancy as raised panels and carving either.
It could be cedar lined or solid cedar. I have non aromatic cedar or ash I could use for the outside if I decide to just line it. I need to buy the aromatic cedar.

Need not have a lock or latch.

Anyone have good ideas for me or a good place or places to look for a plan?

Thanks, Syl.

You can get plans and a video for a blanket chest from the New Yankee Workshop web site.
