I heeded the advice given on the forum last week and bought the Forrest WWII blade for the rigid.
I've been using a Dewalt and it's OK, probably a bit dull by now, but it's been chugging along.
I get the new blade, open it and the first thing I cut my hand on the thing it's so sharp.
I get it installed and start running some poplar and walnut and whatever else I can find around the shop. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
I'm going to send the dewalt to get sharpened and see if it feels the same as a new sharp Forrest, but I don't ever recall the Dewalt cutting like this. The thing is a joy to use.
Next time it comes on sale- Get that bad boy!
