Lazy Susan/ Turntable Installation
I am building a TV stand which allows the TV to be rotated for better viewing. I found a lazy susan assembly from Rockler, but am not certain how to install it. I can swivel the base to access the mounting holes for one surface, but don't know how attach it to the other surface. My only idea is to use low-profile carriage bolts with the nuts inset inside the cabinet top. Has anyone installed one of these? DKC

Mount the lazy susan to the piece the TV sits on first and then have a 3/8 hole drilled into that same piece, so you can drop the screws through to mount it on the cabinet.

RE: Lazy Susan/ Turntable Installation
chris on some susans there is an access hole on one side .
you'll have to line up the hole that you have to drill(in your shelf) with this one so you can get your screws in.also i have made my own cause the tv's were just to big and heavy.just put two pieces of 3/4 plywood(with formica on one side) togeather."formica togeather" and neatly bolt them togeather in the center!!mount some heavy slides on it and and you have a pullout swivel!! good luck!!
