    New jig saw.

    I got rid of my old Black & Decker 2 speed jig saw, and purchased a new Bosch 1587 variable speed jig saw. WOW! It's like the difference between a Yugo and a Cadillac. I love the Bosch. After using the Bosch to cut out some patterns, and do some delicate work, tight turning cuts, etc. I'm convinced that I bought the right saw. If anyone is considering buying a new jig saw give serious consideration to this saw. I truly don't believe you'll regret buying one. :D

    RE: New jig saw.

    I was at Home Depot today and they had it labeled the #1 selling jig saw. Plus they have them on marked down to $139.

    I was so close to buying one but got was walking through Sears and saw a 9" band saw on clearance for $72.

    I hope I made the right choice. My first major tool, so I'm a little nervous.
