    PS Wood bandsaw blades

My wonderful wife bought me a Delta 14 inch bandsaw recently for my birthday. I had already read many posts that correctly stated the stock blade was junk and many recommended a timberwolf blade. I made the trip to big city to purchase a timberwolf blade today, and the wood store where I usually buy things was selling a PS Wood brand blade. The package say's From the creators of the Timber Wolf. Has anybody had any experience with these blades?

I am so impressed with the Timber Wolf blades that "from the creator of" ain't going to cut it. I'll stick with the real deal.
I figure there has to be a reason they market them "from the creators of" rather than plain Timber Wolf!

    Get a riser block now.

you will be able to resaw, and cut bowl blanks. Best to buy the blades just once. :7

    Same blade different channel

I just got off the phone with Suffolk machinery, and it turns out the the blades are one and the same. PS Wood www.pswood.com simply packages blades for different saws & lengths with a protective coating and sells them retail. www.suffolkmachinery.com the manufacturer sells mainly to industrial clients, but will sell direct to you or me (without the fancy package):)

So either way you are getting the same product.

Things for the info. I had seen that on another website, but they weren't real clear about it. Neither of the two woodworking stores in Des Moines had any blade under the Timberwolf brand.
