MIght be some deals at HD this Weekend
I just picked up a Ridgid 14" Bandsaw marked down to $275 (regular $429)at a Cleveland Area HD. It is the old color scheme - they must be getting rid of the old stock to make room for the new.

actually HD has been having a hard time moving rigid tools in most markets. Mny of them are lowering their stock of comprable ryobi tools in hopes of selling more rigid. Those are the wordds of my next door neighbor who is an assitant store manager.

I still think $275 is a good deal on this saw.

yup it is ... mine still has the old model drill press, band saw, lathe, and jointers on the floor at regular prices ... i bought the HF 14" bandsaw a few months ago for $219, it compares to the ridgid, if the ridgid was anywhere in the $200 range, i would've bought that instead.
