Just go into the store and tell them you want to sign up. They'll get your name and address and send you monthly flyers. 10% off for a few days a month and some specials for club members only....no charge or hassles.

    Regards,
    Scott

Hey Randy, you need to get the Craftsman card . You also

need to show it every time you make a purchase. A lot of times they have it in effect but don't advertise so it doesn't cost you anything to show it. It works only in the tool dept. and if it is Craftsman weekend it will get you 10% off of the sale price. It is plastic and looks like a credit card.

I decided years ago I was only going to have two types of days...
Very Good Days :) :) :) or just Plain Good Days :) :). I just refuse to have bad ones!!!

May you have at least a Good Day today,Jeff

I also have the Craftsman 6 inch Profesional jointer. It is an really good tool. Superb instruction book, was easy to set up, and it does cut like glass.

Some folks do not like the fence but I think it works great, and it's miles better that the HF jointer-fence.

When people talk about jointers the Sears does not get mentioned, and I think that's too bad. This Orien Made tool is well kept secret.

    It's a quality jointer.

    Hi Scott...

One thing that I especially like about the Craftsman Prof is the fully enclosed base. My grey Ridgid is wide open and that makes for one big "mell of a hess" of chips and such after running boards. Even with suction applied during cutting, I still have big piles of shavings under the cutter head that have to be blown out.

The orange Ridgid, however, has what i'd call a "semi-enclosed" base that could easily be enclosed and should make the chip colleciton much easier.

    RE: Craftsman Card......cont

Thanks guys --- there was a review recently in the 2005 Tool Buyers Guide that noted they like the Craftsman Pro jointer except the fence adjustment.
