Worth $150??
I know I could build a router table and cabinet by myself... but honestly - this looks pretty well made.
Seems like atleast $150 worth of materials or close too...
What do ya think??

RE: Worth $150??
I like the table and the price.
Four inserts would cost ya almost that.
I'd go for it.

I am a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more of it I seem to have.

Pekin?! I was raised across the river in Peoria.
Oh, the table looks nice, too.

For that kind of money I'd build it myself to my own size and taste.

RE: Worth $150??
If it was close, I would go take a look at it. If it was made well, it is certainly worth the $150.
Otherwise, I would build one to suit my own space requirements...

RE: Worth $150??
Well - it "sounds" good, and it "looks" good, maybe it "is" good.
I know I put every penny of far more than $150 into mine.
I would at least "look" at it.
I would most likely be bringing it home after I looked at it.
It's probably worth $150, but I wonder if the guy will actually be able to sell it.
In a yard sale - never happened - he would never get a buyer.
On Craigslist? He will need to find someone that knows what they are looking at.
Woodworking is a relatively small hobby group.
There is a pretty good chance that he will not find a buyer - then he might be willing to haggle after he reposted 2-5 times. But then - he just might find a buyer and it could be gone tomorrow.
I thought about this as I was thinking about the sander I just bought. How many people are going to buy a sander like that. Should I take the chance or not? So - I dod not wait to see.
In the case of the sander, the odds of seeing another one are slim. With a router table cabinet - the odds are also slim - but for 150 you can build one, not so with the sander.
Tough call - but it does look enticing.

Yep, Peoria isn't too far from Pekin. About an hour south for me.

If that is what you want go for it, has to be more hardware included than you would buy for the money, not to count the hours of work involved.

I think it'd be worth the drive to just go TALK with the guy. Person. (S)He obviously put quite a lot of thought & work into that router table. Hence, they'd be a true woodworker. Might be a pretty neat person.

Me Too. I spent my high school and college years in Peoria with my family. 1954 - 1962. Graduated Bradley University - non cum laude. Now I'm in CT - a long and strange journey.
