Tool Gloat
Yesterday at church I noticed a nice little power sander that remained unbought after our church garage sale. I asked my pastor (hoping that I could get it) what was to become of it and I was told it was heading "north of town." Slightly diss appointed at what I heard, it took a second for someone else to point out that I live north of town and it was mine if I could haul it off.

It runs on 10 amps, but has a 60 amp plug and I have no outlet to accomodate it in my shop(not to mention power) but that'll be an easyish fix.

Nice gloat. That's some solid cast iron there. I read on OWWM that Power King Tool Corp. was bought out in 1947 so your sander is older than I am. :)
Be sure and show us a pic after you get it cleaned up and running.

One the things I like most about those older tools is that they made it easy to replace motors. No special mounting, and basically what ever motor you could get that had the power needed could be used.
An installed motor on a lot of them was optional. That way you could buy just the machine without a motor and save quite a few bucks, then set it up with what ever motor you wanted to put on, be it 120V, 240v or some three phase motor.
That is a very cool gloat and deserving of a YOU SUCK!!

"...nice little power sander"... Yep, I reckon it is!
I'd take one like that over this Gurzzly P.O.S. I have now.
Ya done real good.
