    noise...

The solution can be had quite a few ways...from cheap to fairly expensive...
Expensive - construct a cabinet for the air compressor and line it with either insulation or carpet. Make sure it gets enough air to keep it running cool. If you build a cabinet outside and route the air through the wall, it'll be even quieter.
    Cheap - Wear hearing protection.

    RE: NOISE FROM DUST COLLECTOR

    Psssssssst....turn off the caps lock.
    It's concidered shouting.

Here's what I did with all the noise makers.

Browse around, print it out, improve on it, use it if you will.
It's just how I did it....
If any of it can help you out, it has fulfilled it's purpose.
Good luck in your shop and work safe!

    Hey Woodmangler,
I especially like the cheap method. Made me laugh. :D
