NOISE FROM DUST COLLECTOR
I HAVE A DUSTCOLLECTOR AND AIR COMPRESSOR IN MY SMALL SHOP. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A WAY I CAN SHIELD THE NOISE THAT THEY MAKE WHEN RUNNING. THANKS JIMMIEBEAR

The solution can be had quite a few ways...from cheap to fairly expensive...
Expensive - construct a cabinet for the air compressor and line it with either insulation or carpet. Make sure it gets enough air to keep it running cool. If you build a cabinet outside and route the air through the wall, it'll be even quieter.
Cheap - Wear hearing protection.

Psssssssst....turn off the caps lock.
It's concidered shouting.
Here's what I did with all the noise makers.
Browse around, print it out, improve on it, use it if you will.
It's just how I did it....
If any of it can help you out, it has fulfilled it's purpose.
