    Got reading some old woodworking mags and saw some one had taken an old sewing machine and had modified it to take jigsaw blades...he removed the bottom shuttle mechanism and made a wider slot in the plate. Even left the "foot" to act as a work hold down.
    Timmer would have been proud of him.
    That would be ideal for intricate outside cuts !!!
