    Woodworkers warehouse, Reliant planer

I am trying to locate a part for my fathers Reliant planer. The company that he purchased this RELIANT planer from "Woodworkers Warehouse" has gone out of business. Does anyone on this forum have any idea where I can find parts from? He needs an outfeed roller. If I could find the company that made the reliant planer perhaps I could find the part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sunhill sell a unit that is so similar I'm pretty sure it is the same item.
Also TDHofstetter is a very resorceful machinist and I'm sure he can help...BTW he has the Reliant Jointer so will probably be able to identify the part you need and quickly know whether he can help.
I would e-mail or privately message him as your first step.

    RE: Woodworkers warehouse, Reliant planer

Hey, whattaya know - I think I've actually had my HANDS on a Reliant planer at one point. That's got a little toothed belt driving the cutterhead, doesn't it?

I'm betchin' I could find ya a replacement roller without too much trouble, if you could spike me some specifics in terms of measurements & such. I'll pretty sure the shaft is metric, so probably everything else is, too.

Heck, if I try I might even be able to dig up a whole parts planer.

Just in case, what's up with the roller? What's the complaint?
