    RE: POWER

What type of compressor are you using? 12 volt or 120 volt? A low voltage compressor will work on a battery from a portable drill fine if you don't over-power it, but for high voltage, you will probably need to buy an inverter to change a car battery 12 volts to 120 volts. Harbor Freight carries a cheap one that should do the job.

How large is a large fishtank? A cordless tool battery should work for a while but if you need a power for a longer period of time then you should consider a lawn mower battery or something with a greater duty cylce (Amp-hours). Cordless tool batts really don't have the current capacity you'll need for the long haul.
