    Weekly inspiration

    Greetings to all,

To help to get the juices flowing for turning, I usually look around the web for some inspiration. I thought it may help others as well. Well, in an effort to start off this on the right foot, I'd thought I'd start with a link to one of the best wood turners that I have ever seen. I am still trying to get my schedule down to where I can take a course with him. Anyway, the turner is truly an artist and his work is legendary. I hope everyone enjoys taking a look at some of his work. His name is David Ellsworth and some of his pieces are within the following links to his site's galleries.

    Best Regards,

    Carl,

Now you really have me jealous. His classes are usually booked up pretty far in advance, but sometimes you can get lucky and he has a quick opening. A few of my friends have taken the course and it couldn't get any higher recomendations from all of them. Anyway, I live only about 1.5 hours away and am anxiously looking to get into the classes. If you ever have a reason to be nearby (DE) or feel like coming down, guests are one of my best excuses to get a day in the shop. Feel free to come on down.

    Best Regards,

    Bill
