Closer
The finish is one coat of BLO that I let set for 10 minutes then wiped off at a fast lathe speed. Then 3 coats of Deft spray lacquer applied while the lathe was running. I let each coat dry while spinning for about 10 minutes then setting for about another 20 then rubbed out with 0000 steel wool. Final coat of Johnsons paste wax. No hollowing tools were used at all. The top and bottom halves of the inside were turned seperately then glued together. The outside was then turned between centers and the rim was turned last. The inlay band was an after thought because the tupelo and walnut did not contrast enough.
