No Place Like Home
Hi all,
Boy have I missed this place. Since the downing of this site last week I've felt like a puppy left out in the rain being pushed around by a bunch of cold dark strangers. I was not able to relog until today.
In the mean time I've seen several new listserves, on turning and woodworking in general, that I had no clue existed. They're informative as hell TODAY yet not very archival friendly. So as I said there's no place like home.
I made a great score on logs this past weekend (of course not like Marc I'm sure) fullfilling my need for almost endless amounts of Olive and a bit of black oak to boot. They're green and cut just last week. This supplier said he has as much citris, olive, ash, cherry, oak, and maple as I need and a rather large collection of burls.
Now see if I were here last week I would never have seen his ad on another site, so I guess some things are meant to be, even if they are only temporary.
It's great to be back.
Tony
