    routing

    Hi Again,
Any tips for routing the sawn end of wood or is it just the same as running with the grain?
    Thanks
    Tony.

Use a sacraficial board where the bit is going to leave the end of the board you are routing to support the end grain from tear out.
Otherwise you won't be too happy if it blows out and wrecks your stock.

I agree with sonny. You also may want to route the ends first. This way when you route with the grain it will remove any small damage from tearout.
