Heya all.... and a Ho Ho Ho to everyone!

I ordered sanding discs along with my Sorby self powered sanding thingie... They were a dark red, and seemed to last pretty good... I used them on the Sioux sander/drill I have now....

When I ran out I ordered 2" Hi-Per Gold Velcro Sanding Discs from Packards... First thing that happened was they wouldn't stay stuck to the sanding pad... kept zinging little frisbees all over the place... I was thinking that the sanding pad had worn out....

Today I received the sanding discs I ordered from Steve Worcester at TurningWood.Com.... I ordered from him because[ul][li]He was the same price and[li]The grit is on each disc and[li]He guarantees the discs are the best and[li]I had read about the discs he sells somewhere and they got good reviews...[/ul]

Turned a bowl today, and here's the report....[ul][li]They last a LOT longer than the gold discs...[li]They stayed put... even when I deliberately schmooshed (technical term) the sanding pad into the transition area to try and dislodge the sanding disc... [li]I really like having the grit on every disc... and [li]They did a good job and didn't clog and all the discs were returned to their little bags to be used again... at $0.25 a disc this is a very good thing...[/ul]

So... good discs... good price... and good customer service... Steve emailed me 3 times to let me know how my order was progressing through his system, the mail, etc.... I like that a lot.
