RE: Todays pens and finished lathe stand.(pictures)
Thanks Guys.
I'm not sure if I have my shop in a parking lot or I park in my shop. ;)
I am lucky enough to have a 3 car garage for a shop, it's unfortunate that I have to share it with 3 cars. Yes, just about eveything is mobile, only thing not on wheels is my bench.
As for the temp today, I was comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt.
I almost hate to admit how addicted I am to turning pens. I almost freaked when my wife pulled the cap off my pencil and was going to use the eraser. I don't want them to look used, geesh.
Well after I finally finished my lathe stand and tool storage (that thread inspired me), I got around to making a few pens. First is Walnut with BLO and CA, second is maple/cherry(?) with CA, third is Zebra with BLO and CA, and fourth is Zebra with CA (to make a set for the pencil I made last week).
Hi Russell,
I am interested in where you acquired the inlaybanding in the last picture?
I make and sell this or very similar on www.inlaybanding.com
