He did it!!
(heheehe)
He made a cigar pen!
Looks killer-diller man... nice to give that awesome wood some room to show off!
Your finish looks great too... and I even think you somehow took a better pic too...
OK... I am hobbling around on a hurt foot, but I am gonna turn something manana!

RE: He did it!!
Thanks Marc! I really thought that an all black cigar pen kit would look good with this wood, so I ordered some and they arrived recently so I got to try one out :)
As far as the pic...I had to move my photo setup to a different room so things might be a little different. Maybe it was a good move. I also have loaned out my tripod to my son for Christmas pics so I had to hold the camera my own self - must be my nerves of steel holding the camera steady as a rock that made the difference :) :) :) Then again, maybe the cigar pen just fills the frame more than a slimline does. Or, more likely...I just got lucky on that particular pic :)
Sorry to hear about your ankle - I know what it is like to be hobbled like that (I broke my ankle a few years ago). Hope you get back up and turning soon!

Have a cigar...
Black and White Ebony, and as suggested, I finally got around to using a cigar kit with this wood. Looks like you guys were correct - turned out pretty nice with this big old black chrome cigar pen kit :)
