    That's beautiful work, Tom. I love the pattern and the color scheme you used. But, I'm getting tired just thinking of all those precisely cut segments. Your turning skill is exceeded only by your patience. :)

    I been gonna do one of those open segment bowls for a while. I actually prefer doing segmented containers to the solid ones.

    Dat is a big bunch of little bitty parts to glue up!!! Nice!!!

    Very nice bowl. It's cool how you used the different woods together. I need to read up on how to do that and maybe take a class. I really like segmented projects over solid pieces.

    Open Segmented Bowl

    I just finished an open segmented bowl made of walnut, cherry, yellowheart and maple. Approx. 3 1/2'H x 6"D. These are fun to do.
