Ebay Strikes Again
Got another #4 coming. $20.50 plus shipping. Not great for some of ya'll in Rust Heaven, but pretty good down here where I think they were using rocks or something to scrape away excess wood when making stuff.
Best I can tell from pics is that it's a Type 15, though I'm not real particular about types, just so they were made before the 1960s.

That looks great Jerry...can use some help from you but I think that is a very good deal! :)
Limey reported that he just finished sharpening my plane blades :D. I don't really use my planes but now I can't wait to try them ;).

ya .. looks to be about a T15 to me too ... great grab :) I've got a T15 #6 that was once a rustbucket .. now all cleaned, polished .. and a good user :)

Well, uh, yeah. Actually 2 others, but #4s are particularly useful. And you gotta have a spare or so when doing a project so you don't have to stop to sharpen one right in the middle of something.;)
