    Barrel vs Traditional Grip on Jigsaws

    Do I get better control on a barrel grip and should I consider this on my next purchase. I like the Bosch 1584. What do you think???

    This is very subjective. Depends on how big a paw you got. I've used the barrel grip and felt I had better control. Should I need to replace my traditional unit I'll opt for the barrel control.
    My only reservation, this is unfounded, is I don't feel at ease gripping the motor housing. Just feels a little unsettling.
    I've been bit by a few old metal housed tools before so I'm a bit gun shy.
