    Wood Tubes

I don't really know what to use them for, but this site has hollow wooden tubes (1/8" wall) in a variety of sizes up to 18" diameter. I had never seen them or heard of them, but if someone could use them the site is

    RE: Wood Tubes

    Bill,

Funny, I just got a catalog in the mail from Brand New today. I was thinking that the tubes would make great columns on the front porch of a stately home, or perhaps a grand entry way. They come in either 1/8 or 5/16(?) thick and are shipped directly from the factory in South Carolina. Minimum is 8 feet. I don't recall the maximum length. They are not for structural purposes. One of the suggested uses was a drum. I just can't see me at my age making a drum for any one. :)
