I own a 10 inch Kity (French Made). It is a very nice machine. It gives me a full 10 inch jointer and a comercial 10 inch Planer.

My beds are long enough for most applications and I have not had a problem. I like the europe style guide The head is always covered

The only issue I have with the tool is that it takes a few mins to convert from one to the other. The thickness table raises up to the cutter and it has about a 10 inch capacity under the blade. The normal 1 inch from the cutters means to flip the dust shoot to the other mode requires lowering the thickness table to the bottom. Lots of turning to get it down.

But it uses disposable blades and works very well.

Expensive about 1500 but that is what I wanted
